skepsis ī anomos?

skepsis: noun – examination, doubt, skeptical philosophy

anomos: adjective – lack of law and order, morality, ethics

The meaning it tries to convey is a question I often ask myself: Am I just overly pessimistic, or is everything really going to Hell in a handbasket? Or, as John Goodman put it in the great comedy, Big Lebowski: Has the whole world gone crazy? Am I the only one around here who gives a shit about the rules?

It’s a league game, Smokey.
